Love this site

Love this site! Great finds on NEW clothing for my grandkids. Quality clothing, shoes and accessories. They also often have promo codes for savings!

Good prices, not worth the hassle.

I like a good deal and have committed to buying used as much as possible. I originally started buying from swap on ebay before trying their website. Well, ebay's shipping guidlines make all the difference.
On their website I was prompted that if I signed up for text alerts I could get 30% off my order. The code didn't work so I responded to one of the half dozen texts they sent me in the first 20 minutes. Person on the other end was like "let me look into it" then nothing and nothing and nothing. I finally placed my order without the discount. And nothing, it never shipped. I texted again and they said it usually takes 3 to 4 business days, well at that point it had been six business days..."let me look into it." Nothing. Next day I get a tracking number with a delivery date more than 10 days out. That was 4 days ago and as far as I can tel the only thing that has been done in terms of shipping is a label has been created.
If I order from them again I will go through ebay, since they have to abide by ebay's shipping terms.

I really enjoy shopping at Swap.com

I really enjoy shopping at Swap.com. The pictures and descriptions match the products that arrive. The pieces I get are a great value for the price. I had one small error on my last order, and Swap.com fixed the issue right away. I am very happy and can't wait to place my next order.

Horrible place to sell Items

Horrible place to sell items, even worse customer service. Takes months to even get your items online, then they keep all the money and charge you fees. You give them your items and by the end they give you nothing!

Swap.com needs to require higher…

Swap.com needs to require higher standards on their products. The garments stink. I have order several times and received dirty clothes. There is nothing more disgusting and disappointing than opening the little smelly bags they send.

Also! You WILL RECEIVE ORDERS that conveniently have your favorites just dissappear from your order and THEY DO NOT NOTIFY YOU BEFORE SENDING YOUR ORDER. YOU JUST DONT GET IT. Weird.

It's hit or miss. The prices are NOT THAT GREAT. THRED UP ROCKS! Thred up has MUCH HIGHER STANDARDS....and you ALWAYS GET WHAT WAS IN YOUR CART AT PURCHASE. ALWAYS!

still have not receved my entire order missng coats pant shorts shoes with no explanaton of what happened these items were gfts that need by august 12,2022 also need to return tems that are too small have addressed these concerns in prevous messages with no response swap used to be my go to for clothing and shoes but order fulfillment has drastically declned i receve boxes that are not even secured properly VERY UPSET/ANGRY/DISAPPOINTED

ThredUp is much better! Swap.com just doesn't know what they're doing.

Swap.com seems to be trying to imitate ThredUp, but they aren't doing a very good job. Their website is just not very well-designed, nor is their return policy as great as they advertise. I've also noticed a lot of reviews from others stating that they never got their merchandise at all. I did receive some merchandise, and some of it was even what I ordered. Other items were several sizes off from what I ordered and had to be returned.

I had placed an order containing 14 pieces, and a significant number of them needed to be returned. Some items were a completely different size than was advertised, and many of the items that were labelled the correct size actually ran much larger than expected, despite what it said on the tags. When I returned the items that didn't fit, I included a note with each item explaining what was wrong with it. They gave me a partial refund, but strangely for most of the items they just gave me store credit. I am guessing I got cash for the items that weren't the size they were supposed to be and store credit for the items that just didn't run true to size.

Given that I had to return so many items, I didn't really want to do business with them again, but I couldn't just throw away nearly $60 worth of store credit, so I had to place another order just to get my money's worth. This second order was eventually delivered, but some of the garments were stained or they were pilling badly, despite the misleading descriptions on the item pages. I guess I'll use them to wear when I'm painting or something. This company is truly one of the worst I've ever done business with.

Also, their website is very poorly designed. They have filters to narrow your search down, but no page numbers, so for instance, say you only want to look at shorts in your size, so you filter accordingly. First of all, the category for shorts is combined with skirts for heaven knows what reason, so you'll have to scroll through a LOT of things you aren't interested in. You may get 10,000 skirts and pairs of shorts, all on one page. It's terribly time-consuming.

Worse, if you click on an item to get more information, and then you select "Back" to return to your search, that is not what you'll get. You will be taken to the page you were on BEFORE you selected all of the filters. In other words, you have to start from scratch, re-enter the filter information, and scroll past all of the items you already looked at just to find your place again. It is unbelievably frustrating. On ThredUp, there are page numbers, so you can just go back to the last page you were looking at. I just don't have time to keep looking at the same items over and over.

ThredUp also has a much more reasonable return policy than Swap. As a matter of fact, I had a ThredUp order with several items that were not in the condition advertised. Most of the items, I chose to keep anyway, as some items could be repaired, but I wanted to let them know about the issues, so I wrote to them. Despite the fact that I had decided to keep the items and fix them myself, ThredUp still gave me a partial refund just to make sure they didn't lose me as a customer. Not only that, but I also received friendly personal communication via email from an actual person at ThredUp. That is the way to run a business. I had to email Swap.com just to get a response about the status of my return.

Frankly, I'll be amazed if Swap is in business long if they don't address the many problems with their website and their customer service practices. I will probably stick with ThredUp from now on, and I would urge others to do the same. Trust me, you don't want the aggravation of dealing with Swap if their practices don't change.

Very pleased with my order!

Very happy with my order! Everything was in very good condition. I had one item that was way too big but it fit my daughter. The prices were so great and !arrived in about 2 weeks- I will definitely order again!

The quality of the clothes are not as…

The quality of the clothes are not as good as it used to be.
Photos are not so great with black clothing.
Womens clothing being mistaken for childrens happens too often so biting a childrens sized 10 and getting a woman’s sized item is disappointing.

Savings Plus quality

Received my order every item was as pictured and stated in the description. I love that I was able to get jackets and Winter Wear under 10 bucks for each item very affordable as well as a brand new pair of shoes under $10 all of the items are plus size which usually cost way more but on this site they're very affordable thanks for the affordable prices and the great great quality!

Women's size vary SO much How doyou know which size to get?

I have only had one experience with this site as a buyer. I bought a 1X BB Dakota sheer sheath tunic/dress. I received the dress promptly, but it was very undersized through the chest, bust and hips. On top of that, there were no fabric content or care labels and there were snaps at each shoulder indicating that there should have been an underlining. Swap.com offered me a store credit, but I would have to pay return shipping. I think that sizing and reviews should be provided for each item. Also this same dress was listed different ways on their site - as a tunic and as a dress. It was so plentiful that it would lead me to believe that the dress just doesn't fit true to size. So buyer beware when it comes to sizing.

They changed their return policy so beware of something doesn't fit you'll get store credit, not your money back. I was happy until today... They changed the policy and they didn't even let their customers know.

I have never had to return anything I have purchased yet and that's alot of items, their estimate on size were right on when I ordered an item without a ready size label. I order a size between my normal size clothing and have had wonderful results upon receiving my orders..

Is there a limit on free returns due to size issues?

A:

I've placed about four large orders on this site so far and have had to return a number of them due to not fitting and/or not liking them. No problems whatsoever in making a return. Can't beat the fact that they pay for return shipping so it's a no risk way to shop online. Prices are great!

If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.
